Dates
of the event will be from October 1, 2009 until September 30, 2010.

All fishing
will take place at Lake Fork, Texas.
|
Species
eligible: Largemouth Bass.
|
All eligible
anglers must be pre-registered in the Lake Fork Area Chamber of
Commerce Lake Fork Bounty Bonanza prior to catching record fish.
|
All fish must
be weighed on official certified scales at a chamber member business.
|
The official
state record keeping authority must certify Level 1, Level 2 and
Level 3 prior to claims consideration.
|
To win Level
1 ($10,000), you must exceed the weight of the 50th
largest bass as
specified by the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department listing.
|
To win Level
2 ($25,000), you must exceed the weight of the 10th
largest bass as
specified by the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department listing.
|
To win Level
3 ($50,000), you must set a new Texas state record, as
specified by the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department listing.
|
To win Level
4 ($100,000), you must set a new World Record, as specified by the
International Game Fish Association (IGFA).
|
The
International Game Fish Association (IGFA) must certify a Level 4
entry prior to a claim consideration.
|
Record
weights at the time of catch will apply.
|
The fish must
exceed the established record weights and not just tie the weight.
|
IGFA
conventional all tackle rules and regulations apply.
|
A polygraph
will be administered in the event of a claim and angler must pass
said polygraph.
|
Fish caught
from October 1, 2009 to April 30, 2010 must be
donated to TPWD Toyota ShareLunker program alive.
|
Fish must be
caught using rod & reel.
|
All Texas
Parks & Wildlife Department regulations shall apply at all times.
|
Contestants
must have a valid Texas fishing license unless exempt. License must
be presented at time of weighing the fish.
|
Picture
Identification will be required.
|
Level 1 prize
will be paid to the first 3 eligible entries.
|
Level 2,3 & 4
prize will be paid to the first eligible entry.
|
Group 1 prizes are
NOT cumulative. Only the highest figure applies per catch.
|
Names and
likenesses of Lake Fork Bounty Bonanza winner(s) may be used by Lake
Fork Area Chamber of Commerce and their designee(s) for promotional
purposes without further compensation to the Lake Fork Area Chamber
of Commerce or Lake Fork Bounty Bonanza winner(s).
